چکیده

The special channels and intrinsic defects within GO laminates make it a very potential candidate for gas separation in recent years. Herein, the gas separation performance of GO membranes prepared on the surface of ceramic α-Al2O3 hollow fiber were investigated systematically. The microstructures of ceramic hollow fiber supported GO membranes were optimized by adjusting operation conditions. And, the GO membrane fabricated at 30 min exhibited great promising H2 recovery ability from H2/CO2 mixture. At room temperature, the H2 permeance was over 1.00 ×10 -7 mol·(m 2 ·s·Pa) -1 for both single gas and binary mixture. The corresponding ideal selectivity and mixture separation factor reached around 15 and 10, respectively. In addition, humility, operation temperature, H2 concentration in the feed and the reproducibility were also studied in this work.

A graphene oxide membrane with highly selective molecular separation of aqueous organic solution.

A graphene oxide (GO) membrane is supported on a ceramic hollow fiber prepared by a vacuum suction method. This GO membrane exhibited excellent water permeation for dimethyl carbonate/water mixtures through a pervaporation process. At 25 °C and 2.6 wt % feed water content, the permeate water content reached 95.2 wt% with a high permeation flux (1702 g m(-2) h(-1)).

In this work we report the experimental assessment of the performance of a new catalytic hollow fiber reactor with supported Pd catalyst for nitrite removal from polluted waters. The reactor configuration facilitates working at low flowrate and hydrogen concentrations in order to improve the selectivity of the reduction reaction towards nitrogen, thus, inhibiting the formation of ammonia. Pd ca...

UV-Enhanced Sacrificial Layer Stabilised Graphene Oxide Hollow Fibre Membranes for Nanofiltration

Graphene oxide (GO) membranes have demonstrated great potential in gas separation and liquid filtration. For upscale applications, GO membranes in a hollow fibre geometry are of particular interest due to the high-efficiency and easy-assembly features at module level. However, GO membranes were found unstable in dry state on ceramic hollow fibre substrates, mainly due to the drying-related shri...
